SCAR TREATMENT

There are multiple effective modalities to treat acne scars. CO2 lasers, radiofrequency micro-needling and pilings with chemical peels have very good treatment results.

Microneedling treatment
Normal Microneedling involves inserting fine needles into the skin, creating micro-injuries stimulating collagen and elastin production. Since it causes micro-injuries in the skin leads to bleeding, bruising, redness, tightness, itching, and peeling results in collagen production. It is useful improving skin texture like fine lines, scars and enlarged pores, Good for improving skin texture.
Microneedling Radiofrequency (MNRF) Treatment
MRNF mixes traditional micro needling with radiofrequency technology. It involves a handy MNRF device that contains 10 to 25 ultra-fine needles attached to the front. The procedure starts with the needles gently puncturing your skin, creating several micro-wounds or channels causing the body to produce collagen. We normally use serums/PRP/exosomes depending upon the need for the individual in both the techniques.
When the needles are inside the channels, the device delivers controlled RF energy into the skin causing additional damage. These two actions trigger the healing of the skin using the production of collagen and elastin. Hence useful in moderate to severe skin laxity, deeper wrinkles, stretch marks and acne scars. Good for treating deeper wrinkles and skin tightening.
Acne Scar Subcision
Acne scar subcision is a minor surgical procedure used to treat depressed acne scars, such as rolling scars. It involves breaking the fibrous bands that tether the scar to deeper layers of skin, allowing the surface to lift and improve its appearance. Here’s an overview of the procedure:

For optimal results, subcision is often combined with other treatments, such as:

Carbon Laser:

Carbon Laser Peel (also known as Carbon Laser Facial) is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that combines a carbon-based lotion with laser energy to exfoliate the skin, reduce pigmentation, and stimulate collagen production. While it is primarily known for skin rejuvenation, it can also be effective in improving the appearance of scars, particularly acne scars.

Chemical Peels:

Chemical Peels are a popular treatment for reducing the appearance of acne scars. They involve applying a chemical solution to the skin, which exfoliates the top layers, promoting skin regeneration and improving texture. We use different varieties of Chemical peels depending on the severity of the acne scars.
